DON’T LOOK THE OTHER WAY – COME TO THE RESCUE
My friends, our most precious geography is not New York, London, or Paris. It is our immediate community— the place where our homes and families are. No piece of real estate anywhere in the world can replace the value of family.
Every nation is nothing more than a collection of small communities like ours. If we can re-engineer and empower communities, then we can transform entire nations. That is the mission of Rescueserve—to rebuild communities through capacity development and shared economic resource centres. But today, our communities are in danger. Every day, more of our youths are jobless, rejected, and frustrated. Out of survival, many form destructive alliances. We see the results: insecurity, extremism, banditry, kidnappings, cultism, and growing anger against governance.
Yet, let us not forget: every president, governor, and leader comes from a community. If we want good governance tomorrow, we must build strong communities today. So I make a passionate appeal: let us not look the other way. Let us heal the pain of our young people and give them hope. It costs far less to raise them as service assets to humanity than to contain them later as addicts, kidnappers, or anarchists.
